About Amagove

I grew up in Kakamega, when it was still a small town. Our family lived on a little farm between two streams, and my mother was always creating—if she wasn’t tending her crops, she was knitting, crocheting, or weaving for one of her many children. I sat at her side and watched as yarn and thread turned into more than garments. Every piece she made carried memory, culture, and resilience. Each stitch was identity.

Years later, Amagove was born out of that legacy. My work combines the discipline of engineering with the freedom of design, balancing structure with color, patience with imagination. Knitwear and woven bags are not just products to me—they are a language of heritage, luxury, and time.

Every Amagove piece is crafted slowly, by hand, with intention. The knitwear carries the romance of vintage artistry; the kiondoo bags carry the strength of tradition. Together they speak to the spirit of craft that endures across generations.

When you wear Amagove, you don’t just put on clothing or carry a bag—you carry a story. One that began beside two streams in Kakamega, and continues in every stitch today.
